After dealing with the proapecte of prices for the immediate future, and admitting that the statistical position has little influence on the position, the Sydney Morning Herald takes an optimistic view, and says: — '"The point at the present moment is that the bulk of th^ clip has been sold in a, short lensrth of time in the Australian markets, and. with the exception of moderate etocks, the balance goes to London for realisation. Meanwhile, it is claimed 'that the present position, viewed from the supply point of view, is a strong one for growers, and that the wool to be offered in the Sydney market is not sufficiently large to warrant any further depreciation in values."
