NEWSPAPER OPINION.
LONDON, January 25.
Tlie Chronicle says that organised labour ■will possibly weaken and wreck the Liberal party, the only practical regult being to leave the Tories in possession, of the field. Labour men, says the paper, probably do not realise what the proceedings at Hull mean, but the danger is real, aaid the Labour and Liberal parties should take their bearings. If the Labour party and the trade unionists ally themselves to a policy of martian revolutionary Socialism they will alienate sympathy.

The Spectator considers that the Labour party is committed to full-blooded Collectivism, and has fallen under the influence of extremists like Mr Grayson. The paper adds that it is impossible to imagine a party developing except in accordance with the official statement of its objects..
