Mr J. C. Short, " the well-kno"wn Dunedin fancier, and an ex-president of the Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club, woo the Champion Pairs, wfth Mr Bentley, at the recent bowling carnival. All "the members of 'the Dunedih 'Homing 'Club .were much interested in-the contest. Short ie an enthusiastic bowler, and was a member of the "All Whites" which visited 'Australia last year. My heartiest congratulations to him on "his fine bowling feat.
