- - There are 800 members in the Flaxmill Workers' Union, which is asking for affiliation with the Wellington Trades and Labour Council. Oamaru, and North Canterbury on business concerning the federaX Mr -Mao Donald, of the Tourist Department, has secured a fine set of biograph films of the departure of .the ' Antarctic exploration" ship" Nimrod. The pictures were taken from H.M.S. Powerful, and the department intends to send copies of them to various parts of the Empire. Messrs Erich Davidson, TT. Schmacht, and F. Ullrich, three, German tourists, left Wellington this morning, en route to the Hot Lakes district. They leave Auckland next week for Sydney.
