BENDIGO, December 29/ The cricket match between, the English team and Bendigo was continued yesterday. In their first innings- Bendigo were disposed of for 55. Blythe'toqk, seven wickets for 31- runs, and Crawford six for 15. ' -

Victoria- in their second innings made 141 runs. (ATKenzie 29, Tarrant-46).-Truniper made? 119 and Noble.- ' 41- not out. Trumper scored rapidly, getting his total in an hoar and three-quarters. He' played all round the wicket with his oldtime brilliancy, and his score .included 19 -4's. - x NEW SOUTH WALES v. QUEENS- - LAND. SYDNEY, December 30. In . the match JNew South Wales v. Queensland the former won ' by seven, wickets. The local team's first innings realised 591 runs (E. F. Waddy 106, Bowden. 149, Blaxland 78, Fisher 63) and the second innings 25 for three wickets. In their first innings Queensland made 285 (Hartigan- 104, Hayes, 46>, and in the second innings 328 (Thomson 70, Grouch. 50, Redgrave 44).'
