Following are the results of the MarlI borough regatta held at Picton: — ) MAIDEN FOURS.— Picton Rowing Club 1, Wellington Star 2, Petone 3, Blenheim 4, Wellii. gton Bowing Club 5. "Won by threequarters of a length. Oil/ I/AUNCH HANDlCAP.— Maxted's Niniroa 1, Berg' 3 Jersey 2, - Hebberley's Grafton 3.. Two others started. SENIOR PAlRS.— Picton 1,-Star withdrew. Blenheim rowed over the course with Picton. , JUNIOR FOURS.— Bleiieim 1, Star 2, Picton 3. Also started: ■Wellington. Won by two lengths. " MAIDEN" PAlRS.— Picton 1, Star 2, Petone 3. Won by * length. - YOUTHS' FOURS.— Picton 1, Star 2, Wellington 3. JUNIOR PAlRS.— Picton 1, Petone" % Blen. - heim 3. * 1 SENIOR FOURS.— Pieton 1, Star 2. A bad start and an easy win. Blenheim swamrped. BLUFF. BLUFF, January 2. Owing to the boisterous winds no outrigger races could possibly be rowed at the Bluff regatta to-day. The only events got off were the working dingey race, motorlaunoh uace, outter sailiagp raoq, and ship s gig'e race. The entrance money has _ been returned to all the oarsmen, whose travelling expenses will also be paid. The yaohtsmen get their entrance money returned, and a grant of £1 each for expenses. Apart frpm the wind the weather was very fine. The attendance waa 5300, icing nearly 2000 less than last year.
