LYRIC PICTURES.
* “WHILE JUSTICE WAITS” TONIGHT. “While Justice Waits,” is the attractive title of a picture produced by William Fox and starring Dustin Farnuni, which comes to the Lyric pictures to-night. The story, written by Charles A. and Don Short, is described as a “western minus a ranch.” The s«enes are laid in a small mining town and the surrounding hills. The central figures are an outlaw who has joined the band to seek his wife—and a girl whose faith in hint is justified after various sensational incidents. Around this pair is developed a story of crime, courage, cowardice and cupidity which should afford fine opportunities to an actor of Dustin Farnum’s ability, and to a supporting company of the excellence which Fox has undoubtedly supplied. The star's leading woman in “While Justice Waits'” is Irene Rich, tin actress of beauty and a capable one. A further chapter of the “Social -buccaneer” series together with a clever Sunshine comedy, and the Fox news make this an ideal holiday programme. COMING FRIDAY. “THE CASE OF BECKY.” The Eealart picture, “The Cast of Becky.” which is coming to the Lyri« pictures next Friday, is an adaption of the great Edward Locke story which was staged by David Belaseo in New York. It was selected by Constance Biuney herself, she playing the roie of Dorothy Stone, the girl with a dual personality. The story, seemingly fantastic, is true in many of its details, having been written from a scientific treatise by Dr. Morton Prince, a Boston psvchologist. The plot concerns a gir! who is alternately controlled by two personalities, one good and the other evil. It is somewhat akin to “Dr. Jokyp and Mr, Hyde.” but is 2e«s weird and terrifying. Hypnosis fours the scientific background for the storv, and it is through tv -Hence that the heroine is brougnt Deck to her normal self. Chester M- Franklin, the director, used an exceptionlly strong cast, including Montagu Love. Frank McCormack. Glenn Hunter, Margaret S«ddbn and Jane Jennings. George Folsey "pkot-o-grar-ked the proiucnCa which was adapted by J. Clarkfpg AIM
