(To the Editor). Sir, —I read with great interest in your paper the doings of the Otaki Amateur Athletic Club, but what are they doing for the sports', advertised ou December 29th? Since the programme was printed and advertised I have not seen a report of any committee meeting. By-the-way runu rs from here state that the ground is in a wretched state and the lime is drawing near for hard-training on the growxd. t trust sojn e one in Otaki will wake up. and urge the couiaiitteo to do something to assure the suc*oss of it ijood meeting.—l am. etc, ATHLETE.
