Professor Wilson, accompanied by iwo ladies and eight students from Victoria College, left Wellington on Saturday mousing, reached Alpha hut in the evening, where ihev camped, and vesterdav crossed to Otaki. The track
on the Wairarapa side was goo.l, but on the Otaki side it was found to be rough, and in consequence tin' ladies of the party found the travelling difficult. The party left yesterday by tin' 5.30 train for Wellington.
