FOOTBALL DANCE.
A general meeting of the members of the Otaki Football Club was held last night, when it was decided to hold a wind-up dance on a date yet to w ftxed. The following committee was appointed to carry out the arrangements: —.Messrs Eddy. Rhodes. W. D 'A th. McGill, Walsh. Robin-on, P. and H. Tahiwi. T. 8.-.ar.. T. O’Rourke. E. Di.-brec.Tjy and Mills. , The resignation of .Mr. Mclntyre, a? secretary of the Chub, was received with regret, and Mr. E, Deb recent,- a:: - , point:o th,- vacancy. Air. Ldov, inmoving a hearty vote of thank- to Air. Mein tyre ror his services, spoke highjv of his capabilities and regretted that he had .-een fit to resign. Mr. Mclntyre. he said, had v. orked splendidly for the Club. Air. P. Tahiwi endorsed the remarks after which Air. Mclntyre suitably r> ’ponded, j It was decided to ask officials of the Union to present the cup won, together with the three medals donate-'! by Messrs Ban. yr. D 'Ath, and Mills, for tie —ost improved players in e-ach grade.
