9 HAUTERE DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. t The above club held a shoot at " f ranges 300, 500, 600 yds last Saturday, for. trophies presented lay Mr. 11. B. Wise and Messrs Cottls* Bros. Rfm. T. , Taylor, with the good score of 94 off , the rifle, won Mr. Wise's trophy and Kfm. P. Guy takes Messrs Cottle Bros.’ trophy.
Next (Saturday the club will shoot, for trophies given by Mr. G. Siddells and Airs. Day.
