PERSONAL.
Mr. W. H. Field, M.P., will pay -a visit to Otaki to-morrow. At yesterday’s meeting of the Otaki Borough Council His Worship the Mayor (Mr. Brandon), who has been absent from duties on account of illness, was accorded a hearty welcome. Mr. Brandon, in replying, said he had felt, like a fish out of water, but still had closely followed the doings of the Council. He offered congratulations for able way in which the Deputy-Mayor had carried out his duties.
