NEAV LINE ERECTED. Aestcrday a new telephone litre was opened between Otaki and AA’ellington. and in future there will be direct comniunicatiou—no stations in between—which will mean that there will be no delay with subscribers as previously. The old line will still b'c maintained in case of emergency, but this will somoni be used. The installation has been made on account of the increasing business between Otaki and AA’ellingtoii. ami no doubt will be greatly appreciated. Previous to the installation there were many long delays but in future connections will be made promptly.
