3MB. Win. FISHEK. •There passed away at a ripe old U s o in Palmerston North, a few days a.*® a figure for many years familiar to the dwellers in Otaki. Mr. fisher for ;l good many years was librarian Imre and a painstaking, careful official he was. He kept the books of the library always in excellent order, and the surroundings of the building were a pleasure to look upon. His little 1-mJ, in front, liis garden at the side, and even his backyard showed evidence of the training of one of our old “handy, men.” Bred to the sea. he was trained in Nelson’s old “Victory” at Pints, mouth, a fact of which he was deserve,l--l.v proud. For some time deceased had suffered from heart trouble and an attack of intlucnza last week terminated fatally. Deceased leaves a husband and family of two sons and three daughters to mourn their loss. namely Messrs Herbert < Malta kau) Keith t Koputaroa) Medames Herruansson (Waverlev), Mohrkey f Wait aha rum) and Miss' Kathleen (Mannkuti). Mrs. A. H. Port (Talnr.v moil) is a sister of deceased. The funeral will take plan* at Manakau at half past ten to-morrow morning. MISS CHRISTIE. The death occurred at the private hospital.
