LOCAL GROWERS DO WELL. Among those to gain honours at the Hut! Vallev flower show on Wednesuay werc Messrs \V. H. Reynolds. H. \iu-, chell, and A. H. Burgess, ol this dis/ irict. The former won with a fine collection of narcissi. 12 varieties, Mr.. Witchel] was second in the long truinX pet class, and lirst in narcissi, other ihan long trumpet. Mr. Burgess was very successful in the open class. All blooms were \t_Ty fine and freely admired.

At Levin the narcissi sestion was particularly tine, and Mr. Reynolds was well to the fore, with Mr. eoo. Bramley next in order of merit. Following is the narcissi prize-list:
