The eighteen holes were clone in 70, equalling bogey, and it was anyone’s game right to the end. when Carter run clown an eight-feet putt a fourcr, and Wintcrburn, laying a similar distance, failed and thus lost the match and championship at the last hole “ Slumberlaud. ” The first round of the foursomes was also commenced when Wallace and Tara ton beat Carter and Takorci, 2 up. and C. Enoka and Rnnsfield beat B. Euoka and G. Grey. 1 up at 21st hole. f
