j DISCUSSED BY COUNTY COUNCIL. Mrs. J. Power waited on tho Horowhenua County Council meeting on Saturday, and complained of water being diverted from lier property to her detriment and asked if tire Council had levels. The chairman said the water flowed !wo ways. Mrs. Power said she had lived on her present property for 20 vears and never till lately had she cause to complain. She saw no reason whv Freeman's Road culvert should be renewed as the present timber was Unite sound. She said she simply wantd water to run on its proper levels, and if allowed in-its natural course it vould do no harm. The chairman promised that he and 'r. Ryder would visit the locality and see what could be done.
