In the competition for £9O in prizes given by Messrs Templeton, Ayr, Scotland, .to introduce their knitting wools, Miss Jennie G. Maclean got. second prize (£;>) in the class for knitted junipers or sports coats done with double knitting cool. There was keen competition, the entries for the four classes into which the prizes were divided numbering i-j Saud came from Auckland to luvercargiU.
