GOLF.
The secretary of the Otaki Club received a telegram from the Mauawalu Club yesterday, saying the latter would
be unable to scud a team to Otaki on Saturday because so many of their members had influenza. Ladies will therefore play the first round of the championship on Saturday, and the men their second round, a medal round being played in conjunction.
