MISSION OF HEALING.
Mr. James Moore Hickson will hold a mission for tho rovival of healing in the church in Wellington tflty on Novembers sth 'to 9th. The mission will be for cither three or four days : if for three days 1500 applicants will bo dealt with, if four, 2000. All parishes south of Levin and south of Mastertou will go to Wellington, north of that area to Palmerston. It is important to remember that the mission is not solely a mission of healing, but a mission to revive the practice of healing by the church. The mission is very, emphatic with regard to the spiritual preparation of patients;. the clergy are accordingly asked to instruct thoir people in the mission and its pulp)uses: also to hold services of intercession, and to form prayer circles or study circles as may seem best. Patients are required to fill in application forms, which may be obtained from their Vicar. Owing to the limited number of eases which can be dealt, with, applications for serious cases only will pc considered, but these need not necessarily be'incurables, though the latter will receive preference. Applications must be dated, and will be accepted in priority of date. When the full number for the centre has been received, the list will be closed.
With-regard to non-Anglican deuom-, inatious, Mr. Hickson receives them, , and cards must be signed by their ministers, certifying that they have been duly prepared. j The Rev. 6. F. Petrio, Vicar -of the ( Otaki Anglican Church, will be gljid to receive the names of any patients 'from this district who desire to go to the 'mission. To avoid disappointment he •Sisks that application should be made as | so pn as possible as the list will be I quickly filled up.
