She played with brilliant success in the original New York production and for a period filled the leading role. She also has been particularly successful on the English, stage, her greatest success there being A'the leading role of Shanghai at Drttrv Lane Theatre,. London. which part was played previously by the Australian favourite Dorothy Brunt on.
