PERSONAL.
Messrs G. H. Harper and F. J. Ryder left this morning for Napier. Mr Win. F. Heavoy, of the Southern Cross Assurance Company. is now in the district. Father Vibaud. who lias been on a visit to Wanganui, returned home yesterduy. Mr -1. Tinman, lute of the Railway Hotel, Otaki, has just returned from u trip to England. Mr W. Bell, son of Mr George Bell, late of Otaki, will be married to Miss Maudie Reed, daughter of Mr Ashley Heed, at Wellington on July Ith. Mr and Mrs Williams, late of the Telegraph Hotel. Otaki, and who have been residing at Seatoun, have sold their business there and expect to leave shortly for fresh fields. Mr -J. W. Cudby, Inspector to the Hutt County Council, is at present suffering from injuries received on Friday. He was in a garage and on walking to the roar of a car fell into an open pit, injuring himself severely. The engagement is announced and the marriage will shortly take piece of Mary .Stewart Seddou, daughter of the late Right Hon. K. J. Seddou. and Mrs Seddon, of Golder V Hill, Wellington, to Dr. Frank Hay, chief inspector of mental hospitals, Wellington.
