HUTT v. OTAKI. The Lower Hut t Golf Club sent a team of ten middle and long-handicap players to Otaki on Saturday. The match resulted in a win for Lower Hutt Iby eight games to two. The veteran player, Gray, who is champion of the Otaki Club, scored a good win over O. Heketa, while Dr. Sharp defeated \V. E. Leicester by 2up and !. These were the only u ins registered by the country club. A feature of the match was the close finishes in nearly ('very grime. The following are the results of the match, Hutt players being mentioned :lrst in each instance:— L. Cartel - beat S. T. Skivers, 5 up and 4 to play. L. Carter beat S. J. Sic vers, 5 up and 1.
