WEDDING AT OTAKI.
PEPPER—KITCHnSTG. A very pretty wedding 1 took place iti tlie Anglican Cliurch oil Wednesday last, the parties being Mr Stanley Pepper. ol Otaki. only sou of Mr and Mrs J. H. Pepper, to Miss M. Kitcliing, only daughter of Mrs A. Kitching, of Palmerston North. The bride was given away by Mr C. Gatchie. of Palmerston . The bride wore a very becoming gown of cream serge with stockinette sleeves, beautifully worked with silk brading with a cream sarin hat to match. The bridesmaid. Miss Rita Pepper, wore a very smart dress of shotsilk and a black satin hat. Mr Cliff blovd ably carried out th* duties of best* man. After liiff *<°rwi*eny a l«rgw number of guests wsr-e ewtarts :*ed vt the residence of Mr ,T. H. P*pp»r. at Taimii, where the wedding breakfast was held. During the evening the guests wore invited by the Maoris of Tainui to a social evening, the meetinghouse being beautifully decorated. Songs, poi dances, and hakas. wore given, ,which were greatly appreciated, aiul dancing was carried on till an early hour. Tllie young aouplo were the recipients of n large number of useful presents, including cheques. Mr and Mr* Pepper will spend their honeymoon in Auckland.
