RATEPAYERS' MEETING.

Mr Byron Brown, a candidate for the Mayoralty, will address ratepayers at the theatre to-night on matters relative to the welfare of the town. Candidates for the Council are invited to speak. Mr J. P. Brandon, who has Occupied tho Mayoral chair for some time, amd who has been instrumental in having important works carried out, will address ratepayers at the theatre to-mor-row night at 8 o'clock. It- is expected that there will be a large attendance. Mr H. Freeman will be in the chair.
