-> A meeting of the Management Committee of the United Football Club will be held at the Lyric theatre at 7.3 d tomorrow- night (12th. inst'). Delegates who attended the Union meeting at Levin are requested to attend. On Saturday afternoon the Levin Wanderers played a friendly game with the Western United at Palmerston North, which resulted in an easy w in for the local learn by 31 points to G. Neither learn was playing at its full sireiigtii. and the match was mo re in ihe nature of a try-oat for new players, of whom both sides were mainly composed. The Wandererlock Hie initiative early in the game and ill tin- lirr-t -pel! put up 12 pointagainst die wind. In the second tint: a. ftyUrer 19 were added, Jacob and Jackson scoring three trie* each.
