* In the report of the ,gymkhana the names of Mr and ill's “Bob” Kvaia were omitted. As a matter of fact they were among the best workers. Besides tine work Mr Evans lent hithorse and cart, supplied a boy, and. generally, helped in many ways. Mrs Evans also worked energetically for the gymkhana, and assisted with sewing, etc. Thanks of the guild are due to the above, also all members of the Ladies’ Guild, ami others who so ably assisted. Tito ladies commenced work on March 2nd with £-1 tils Id only, and by three weeks ' work raised the amount to over £tio. Following is tlie amount of money collected from tire staSl-holders:—Fish pond and dip (Mis* A. tied I>. Cotter) £3 13s 3d; work stall (Mesdames Evans and Dimock, Misses Hill, Dyer, and E! sic Bryant), £lfi Ss 3d; sweets stall (Misses Ruby Be van. Monk and Bur noil), £-{ 2s Sol; cukes and ice creams (Mesdames Xces and Dalziell), £9 IS--9d; refreshments (Mesdames Simeo.x Sclioles, Drake, Nye. Cotter and Monk) £l3 14s 6cl; produSe. (Mesdames Bur Hell and Tat-um). £7 7s Gd; total £6( 4s lid.
