FOOTBALL.

THE UNITED CLUB. At a committee meeting of the Unitdo Club on Wednesday night it was decided to hold a fortnightly series of dances, to commence about the middle of next month. It was also decided to hold a scratch match on Easter Monday, the game to commence at 2.45 p.m., it being stated that the Marist Brothers team was unable to make the trip. In connection with the scratch match it is hoped all players will attend so as to enable the Club to ascertain how many teams can be entered for the championship. It behoves all juniors, as well as seniors, to be present.

Mr Marshall has donated £1 Is to the Club's funds.

A general meeting of the Club v. ill be held at an early date for the purpose of grading players, instructing delegates, and appointing other officers.
