Freeman was presented, in the Stewards' room with a handsome pair of suitably engraved sporting bino culars by the secretaries of the adjacent racing clubs and the handicapper, judge and -tarter of the club. P. Truda, and Misses Irma and Elva Wallace. She leaves one -on by her second marriage, Mr Cecil Hombersley, of Wangaehu. The deceased was buried on Thursday

afternoon beside her first husband in the Maori cemetery at Otaki, the Rev. Father Melu officiating.
