Three trophies were allotted by the Executive to the three highest aggregates in the ;;np and Field Shield, and were won as follows: — | F. Whiteman (Upper Hint,. 91—87 I 178, £1 1/. i Luke Whiteman (Upper Hutt), 93 — ! 84—176, 13/. | X. Taylor (Hautere), 91—84—175, 8/. ! Muekersey (Hautere) also made 175, but Taylor’s finish at the 000 yards irt both contests was much the better. The ladles of the district supplied refreshments, and a very pleasant day was spent.
