The exhibits, numerically, were bet ter than last year, while the attend nice, both afternoon ami evening, wa. very satisfactory. In the evening tin Otaki Brass Baud rendered lire selee tions, while tile tea-rooms, under tin able management of Mrs Reynolds am Misses Whiteman (2) did good busi ness. Mrs I’ercivyl and Mrs Nicolsoi also did splendidly at their product and sweets stall. The displays by visiting nurserymen, proved attractions. Mr' llopmeier, o. the Waimuhoo Nurseries, Waikauae, had it tastefully-arranged stand of cul blooms, various descriptions, and a Ist exhibited some tine palms, etc. He plants were all well grown and llie nur scry should be an acquisition to lln district. Messrs Evans and Sawyer til so had a display of cut blooms —a!, being from Hue, well-grown plant; They also had hundreds of seedlings which they readily disposed of at tempting prices. This iirm is not' well established and local residents aim others should secure one of their prim lists.
