AQUATIC CARNIVAL
AT OTAKI TO-MORROW. Preparations are well in hand lor the aquatic carnival which is Io be held at the Otaki beach to-morrow, commencing at 1.30 p.m. The programme is a good one. and teams will be present from Wellington and elsewhere. The ladies' committee is working well.
ami is catering foi the gcueiul public by supplying refreshments. A dance will be held in the Town Hall in the evening. The Secretary of the Centre reports that teams from Lyall Bay. Worsei' Bay. Island Bay. Ma.anui. ami Paekakariki, are coming to Otaki to-mor-row to compete for the Otaki Shield and Cup. Special accommodation would be provided on 'he 5.20 train on Saturday morning, ami Die return train on Sunday afternoon will be delayed until 5.30 intend of 1.30.
