A general meeting of members of th« Otaki Bowling Club will bo held on Thursday night at 7.:it>. A full attendanco is requested. Saturday was a glorious day foi bowling, and the green was jn tip.top condition, in consequence of whiall good play was noticeable. I„ the singles Williams beat Eddy. l'l-J3, and also accounted for Windier. 111-14 while Irving beat Smith. J n the pairt Moore and Smith boat Ayrc nnd St.. George. 22-16, Atkinson nnd Bills beat Nicolson and Freeman, 30-12, Whiteman, and Williams beat Gooding and Eddy 31-13, Bax and Petri, beat Haw.a and Davies, 30-16, Evans and JUslii beat Vann and Irving 23-JO, McGil and Noble ! v -at Keall and Satherley, 2J-IH. while Vann and Irving beet Smith and -Moore 17-10.
