TO-NIGHT. “THE SHEIK.” Rudolph Valentino as “The Sheik’ is Paramount’s dynamite attraction, a picture that has in one night established Valentino as the outstanding figure in motion pictures. There is no necessity to dwell upon his earlier performances before “The Sheik,’’ for it is this picture which has made a household word —sudden, yet impressionable. "Valentino is a man’s man —and a woman’s ideal! With each individual patron he creates desire —a desire that is stimulated towards the end his thrilling portrayul of “The Sheik,’’ for almost brute force and strength indicated in the earlier scenes is thrown against a background of tenderness in a never-to-be-forgotten final.
