COMMENCING AT THE GRAND MATINEE. “THE INVISIBLE FEAR.” One of the best photo-plays of the
season—with one of the screen’s most popular stars, is “The Invisible Fear,” starring Anita Stewart, which is comj ing to the Lyric Pictures, commencing at the matinee to-morrow (Saturday). Aliss Stewart plays the part of Sylvia Langdon, who is wooed by two men. One of them suddenly disappears, and •Sylvia believes he lias been burned to death in a cabin. Due to an episode which has preceded the file, she keeps silent the fact that she hnd seen a body • being consumed by the flames, but | throughout the years the “invisible fear” —the haunting recollection —is i ever present, despite tier happy mum- ! age. Then one day the “victim” appears in the midst of a dinner party being given in honour of Sylvia’s birthday. Sylvia is so astounded and hor-ror-stricken that she falls under Ids sway. What follows marks the story strikingly original, (coming with mystery, romance and adventure. Miss Stewart will surprise even her most ardent admirers by the manner in which, she portrays the most difficult emotions. Gorgeous sets have been provided for the attraction, most of the scenes taking place in an imposing mansion, a country club and in the woods.
