The Otaki Club has issued a challenge for the Pollock Stars aud hope to play the Levin representatives .on Wednesday next. Other members of the Otaki Club will also make the trip. Something in the nature of a record was established on the Otaki green on Tuesday when a match for the “doubles” lasted for si-x hours. The game was between Mrs Atkinson and Mrs Tattersall versus Mrs Noble and Mrs Nieolson, -when the latter pair won after an exciting and interesting contest by a very narrow margin. 'Other interesting games resulted as follows: —Mesdames Davies and Bills beat Mesdamcs Olliver and Evans; Mesdames Atkinson and Tattersall beat Mesdames Davies and Bills; Mesdames Davies and Bills beat Mesdames Brantley and Siddells.
