OLD MAN DROWNED IN BLUri' HARBOUR. Invercargili, Last NightThe dead body of an elderly man, David Brown, was discovered on the foreshore of Bluff Harbour at 7.40 a.m. to-day. Deceased had been on a visit to Bluff and was last seen alive on Monday afternoon. The body bears no indication of violence, and it is surmised deceased fell into the harbour. DEATH OF A GANGER. Wanganui, January 10. A married man named W. H. Newland, a ganger on the railway, was killed this morning through being Overtaken by an engine ;it a tjend while on the jigger inspecting the WestmereAramoho line.
