TO-NIGHT. ‘BREAK THE NEWS TO MOTHER.’ “Break the News to Mother,’’ Selznick Pictures ’ latest attraction, which can be seen at the Lyric Pictures tonight, is a story of a small-town life and the beautiful, sacrificing love of a mother for her child. This picture has enough heart interest to hold any movie •fan enthralled from beginning lo end. It will make you laugh and cry and will leave you smiling through the tears. A splendid cast, including- Pearl Shepard, Raymond Bloomer, and Gertrude Berkelv, will be seen. Additional pictures include the second chapter of the thrilling “Blue Pox’’ serial entitled “The Monaco from the Sky,” a rib-tickling Hallroom comedy, “In Again Out Again,’’ and a beautiful Canadian scenic. FRIDAY NIGHT. “FIND THE WOMAN.’’ AVho killed Morris Beiner? The well known theatrical agent, is found stablied to death in his office, one hand clutching part of a woman’s dress. On a memorandum pad is the name of a woman. Where is that woman? That is the mystery developed by “Find The j Woman,’’ with Alma Rubens, a Cosmo-, uoJitan Paramount picture coming to (he Lyric Pictures next Friday. The story was written by Arthur Somers Roche and Ton; Tcrriss directed the picture. Adventure, complications, ex citement and romance arc said to be of-
fered in great measure by this new photoplay. “Back to the Kitchen,’’ a two-reel Sen nett comedy, “The Terror Trail” serial, chapter ten. amt a scenic aiul news reel completes this very fine bell. SATURDAY NEXT, AT 2.30 And 8 P.M. “KINDRED OF THE DUST.” Something in the way of a motion picture treat is promised in “Kindred of the .Dust,” with Miriam Cooper at the Lyric Pictures next K. A. Walsli, who has much cinema masterpieces as “The Oath” and “Serenade” to his credit, produced the picture from the novel by Peter B. Kync, and has made it one of the most gripping productions ever seen on the screen. Tensely gripping drama characterises “Kindred oY the Dust,” the action of which is laid in the storied Northwest, where passions are unbridled and where immense achievements are the rule not the exception. Miss Cooper is supported by an excellent cast including Ralph Graves and Eugenic Bessercr.
