TO-MORROW (SATURDAY)

One of the outstanding features ia the "Gringo Devil," a dare-devil Mexican melodrama playing at the Lyric Pictures to-morrow at the matinee aad at 8 p.m., is the keen and realistic acting of Don Jose Morallez. With ttuo Spanish, blood running through lis veins Morallez spent a great many years along the Mexican border everlastingly partaking in insurrections and squabbles between tho peons and gringos. He first gained considerable prominence as a leader and lieutenant i of Villa's revolutionists. On man? occasions ho was sent, on very desperate hazards to accomplish deadly deeds. The villainy that Morallez indulged in real life he is now performing before the motion picture camera. Many scenes of "The Gringo Devil" were laid in the surrounding country where Morallez spent his boyhood da/s and learned to be an outlaw and midnight rider. Additional films include "Chilli Romance," starring tho Hallroom Boys, a Canadian s»enic and the Selznick News.
