A quiet wedding was .solemnised at the residence oi.’ Mrs D. J. LuGrove, KM hum, on Wednesday, December 1 between Miss Vera Maud Walker, of Wellington, and Mr A. Morris Dunkley, solicitor, of Otaki (both late of Samoa). The Kev. F. W. Thomson performed the ceremony, and the bride, who was given away by Mr 3. L. Arcus, wore a frock '* of marocain satin prettily trimmed with shell pink georgette and pearls. Her beautifully embroidered veil was held . with orange blossom, and she carried a i shower bouquet of maidenhair fern, • sweet peas, and carnations. A few rei latives and friends were entertained by • Mrs LcGrove, after which the bride and • bridegroom left for the south, the former travelling in a mole frock braided with Princess Mary blue with iiaV to match and a marabout stole. Amongst the visitors at Mr R.
