The following answer was given by a girl pupil: “The health resorts of New Zealand are farming, cow-spanking, timber-felling, flux-milling, and hunting. ’ ’ At tlie conclusion of the Flunked Baby Shop in the Ashbutfoii Domain a mother with lour children, whom she had entered in the contest, missed the lust train to Drotnore, and without hesitation set out to walk the distance, some six miles. The children she packed in the peramhulatoi in all styles, hut had not progressed far before being overtaken by a lady interested in Flunket work, who had heard of her misfortune. The much-relieved mother and Iter young family were motored lo their home. Our attention has been drawn to tLc practice of motor-cyclists who career at a great pace along Rangiuru Road, and thus endanger life and limb. Many children are in the habit of playing on the road and roadside and the danger to them is great, while adults complain that they have been almost run down. Now that the holidays are here and there is likely to be many children about we hope cyclists will note the above and moderate their speed.
