The Xiuas issue of "Aussie' is a specially fine number, it is i till of Xmas humour and spirit maintained throughout 92 pages, and contains one Of the best stories that has come from the pen of Henry Lawson —specially written for '.'Aussie." There are over 100 ill us ti at ions by over 50 Australian artists, together with dozens of stories, articles, sketches, verse and pars by numerous Australasian writers. Two ] pictures by Rlissom are particularly! striking, while excellent art is provided by Noel Cook and Dick Hore, two very promising 'artists, and G. K. Townseml has a drawing of remarkable merit, An article of great interest is one entitled "The forbears of Henry Lawson," written by the poet's sister, Gertrude Lawson. It is illustrated with photographs of Lawson'a grandfather, grandmother, mother and father.
