THE PEARCEY CUP. Two games for tko Peareev Cup were played on Saturday. Vann, List, Heuld, Noble (s) easily accounted^ for Siddells, Moore. Smith, Bills (s), 26 10. Bills started with a lead but Noble secured sin on the 6th head, and after this steadily forged "ahead. Bills scored on six heads only, McGill, Atkinson, Irving, Williams (-) lost to Freeman,-Nicolson, Whiteman, Eddy (s), id-21. The latter opened with a three, but on the oth head the scores were even. tne 9th heap, however, Eddy led 14—6, on the 13th 20—7. After • this Williams took a more prominent part and on the remaining heads scored 13. The Queensland bowlers will be playing in Wellington on Wednesday, and ii 'is probable that yn Otaki risk will take part.
