♦ The above Committee met on Tuesday evening, Mr H. Witchell -in the chair. There were present Mesdames Witchell and jSTicolson, Miss Whiteinan, Messrs Bramley, Broadway, D. Noble, Percival, A. Wilson, Summers and S. Norgrove, secretary. The secretary presented a statement of accounts of the lute show showing a credit balance of £lO Ss od. Votes of thanks were passed to the judges and to Misses Baker and Whiteman (tea rooms), Mesdames Reynolds and Nicolson (produce stall), Mr H. Tews (for milk for tea-rooms), the ladies and gentlemen who assisted as class stewards, donors of cakes, etc.. for tea-ro6ms and produce stall, and members of the Band who rendered selections on the evening of tho show. Miss M. Baker tendered her resignation on leaving the district. The secretary was instructed to write to Miss Baker, expressing regret at losing such a valued member. Mr F. R. Wright, of Levin, wrote offering a special prize of 10s 6d in rose section at Spring show. 1923, and Messrs Sawyer and Evans, of Manakau. donated two prizes of 10s 6d each. The Autumn show schedule was revised, and ordered to be printed, various members donating special prizes. Date of Autumn show was fixed for Tuesday, March 20, 1923. ' The Committee congratulated Mr Witchell on his success at the Wellington show.
