Ban. of Wellington, the gem of the ~ r..<;-. being viev.\- of Killarney. Mrs G. Higgie and Miss J’. Monk kindly obliged wuh the well-known song of that name during th>. exhibition or the view-. The second part of the entertainment was chiefly in the hand, of the pupils of the school, and eonsi’-ted of songs in unison and in parts, rounds, and dialogues. Messrs -J. Stubbing®, E. Mev- r. and li. Howard contributed songs, the former wincing a well de--ervi'-d encore. Mr, G. Higgle presided at the piano during the children’s, items, and Miss .-stubbing- for the sdokr. The Chairman of the School Committee then distributed the prizes-—one for each child. The ringing of the National Anthem brought the concert to a close. Refreshment? wer- then handed round and the rest of the evening «v spent in dancing. Mr F. Meyer provid--ed the music.
