After the prohibition meeting last evening a number of people accepted . the invitation of Mr Eric Morse to wit- | ness the screening of "Omar Khayyam," which is due at the theatre on Monday night. The picture proved a splendid one, and Mr Morse is to be warmly congratulated on securing such a high-class film, one widen has had a most successful r-ur wherever siofn. It :s hoped Mr Morse's enterprise will be rewarded with a bumper-hou.se. ■The main theme of the picture is tit* '•'Eubaiyat-"' itself. bzii in addition an attractive- Persian romance has been woven round it. The scenes are laid in Persia, at the time of Omar, tent-mak-er, philosopher, and poet, who is accurately impersonated by Fiederick Ward.
