: It has been decided, thanks t 0 - h *-' ! energies of Mr Field. M.P., to still run the 4.13 p.m. train from Wellington to Ot-aki, so as to .-uit the wishes of the Johnsonville and district residents. The train, -will also be a convenience to those who desire to reach Otaki end district at an earlier hour than they would by the train leaving Wellington at 6 p.m. The new time-table came into force to-day and the early train from Otaki carried a fair number of passengers to the City. Mr P. Familton, of Levin, has a fine tot of crockery, suitable for Xmas presents, for sale. See advertisement. A dance, will be held at Te Horo on Wednesday night next for the purpose xf raising funds for the benefit of the ball funds. An enjoyable time is promised all who attend. We remind our readers of the meeting to be held at Manakau on Monday night to consider the offer of £3OO to the Manakau residents towards the improvement of the Beach road. It is hoped there will be a large attendance as the matter is an important one. Mr James Sievers, furnisher, etc., has on hand some very fine bedsteads, neat and low in price. The}- are of simple design, easily put together or taken apart, and just the thing for beach cottages. Mr Sievers has also in stock rugs, linoleums, hardware, toys, etc.
