OTAKI—THIS DAY. (Before Messrs C. Kilsby and H. Nicolson. J's.P.). Otaki Borough Council (Mr Atmore) v, J. H. Hoffman (Mr Dunkley). Case withdrawn and costs amounting to £1 14s Sd allowed defendant.

George Bevan (Mr Staveley) v. Mrs "Wallace (widow) (Mr Dunkley) —Claim 10s for eash lent and £2 for two lambs destroyed,. Plaintiff, his son, and Joe Grant gave evidence in support of the claim, but defendant , stated her husband was living, and aecordinglv a non-suit was granted, -with solicitor's costs 10s 6d. Plaintiff was given the right to have the case, with, amendment, re-heard. Judgment was given by default in the eases J. Fairley v. J. Carroll, claim £7 14s" 6d, costs 36s 6d; 3. Kanuah v. Geo. Gee, claim £lO 10s. costs £2 14s, Harper and Armors v. Qeo. Gee. claim. £5 14s 3d, costs 80s 6d.
