BOROUGH MATTERS.
To the Editor. Sir, —“Ratepayer” seems astonished at want pf courtesy of the Borough officials. Evidently “ Ratepayer” has not had much to do vrith the Council, or he would not have been so surprised. The pin pricks that the ratepayers are constantly called on to put up witn must cease, or there must be a change. Anvone would think ws were living in Russia under the late Czar —truly labour rules in Otaki now. —I am, etc., = ’ ' _ »I6<SUBTEX>.
