DIXON CUP AND TUCKER BADGES. The Feilding rink again established iis right to hold the Dixon Cup, defeating Woodviile on Saturday by Jo to lb The Northern Club is next in line, and will play at Feilding on Saturday, A well-known skip of a Palmerston bowling club was staying at an up-to-date hotel with his team when on a visit to another dub lately. At meals and at play he was invariably late, and the reason was discovered by his lend, who found him riding up and down in an automatic electric lift. He said it was the only free ride he had obtained in this country since he used to httng on to the buck of a cab forty years ago. Every man in the club guessed his nationality, though the name is a secret.
